Silver Coast Friends is just celebrating its sixth year and was set up by a number of like-minded women, who wanted to share their stories and experiences, make new friends and socialise with other ladies in a similar boat.
Most of us live on the Silver Coast, although a few are regular visitors to the area. The communal language spoken is English but obviously we have people from all over Europe and further a field.
We get together for a two-hour coffee morning, every other week 10.30 till 12ish. It is a good social gathering where you can sit and chat, meet new friends, discuss what is going on and if you need to know anything there is always someone in the group who has "Been there and done that" so we share experiences.
If you do not wish to register at this time we have open pages for the public such as our classified ads
and lots of useful services too.
We welcome newcomers at the meetings and are very happy to involve young and old alike - just bring along your generosity of spirit, enthusiasm and energy!
The next coffee morning can be found to the right of this page under dates for your diary.
Members of the Silver Coast Friends group have their own talents and personalities whether from home-keeping and/or professional backgrounds. So far we can boast at least one of the following: artist, poet, yoga expert, dress-maker, interior-designer, painter-decorator, soft-furnishings maker, furniture restorer, theatre lover, singer, photographer, book-lover, homeopath, keen-gardener (and cuttings pincher!), pool-player, website designer, ceramics painter, reiki practitioner, chef, history & culture lover, hairstylist, teddy-bear maker, budding amateur-dramatic, astrologist, jewellery-maker, dog-watcher, walker, badminton player, table-tennis and environmental enthusiasts and last, but not least, we all enjoy wine-tasting and eating out!
